like the title says, make blockland look like a cartoon!

This will definitely be possible as of the new update, however we can't start working on it before then since we don't have any information on what syntax the shader definitions will use and some other specifics.

man......

This has already been suggested.

And what Port said.

This would be fun and unique, and with the coming update, most likely possible.

GLSL or HLSL or custom syntax?
Blockland uses OpenGL

It used to be able to run on DirectX, however, that's been removed as of a recent update pre-v20.

This is how I somewhat imagine it would look. I think it would look better though if every edge had an outline.

i'd like to suggest blockland but with every bad photoshop effect enabled

Borderlands anyone?

Cell-shading, IMO, looks awesome. Blockland was meant to look like a cartoon.

I think it looks great as it is. Yeah, it would actually look epic if Blockland had cel-shading.

I'm just waiting for Demian now and his words of wisdom for Blender. I just love rendering things from Blockland in Blender.

i'd like to suggest blockland but with every bad photoshop effect enabled
introducing the garbage setting on blockland

it features a scale from high to low quality garbage
removes transparency from anything
will provide screen with different segments of bad photoshop effects

introducing the garbage setting on blockland

somebody please make this

It is sad because the closest thing Blockland currently has to make it look cell shaded is enabling the sharp filter in advanced options. It would be cool if toon shade was basically toggle-able like the sharp filter.

But, I think blockland is cool and unique the way it is
