Computer lag issue, Please help

actually you HAVE to close explorer to play AoE2 on win7 most of the time, or the colors are all forgeted up

why would i bother getting an earlier version of windows when i can just close explorer.exe...? takes like 1 keystroke and 2 clicks, and no, it doesn't cause any problems
