Just like Dropbox. You drag things from your computer to a folder and it gets uploaded to the internet so you can then download that thing from other computers and whatnot.
But unlike Dropbox, you start off with 5gb for free and you can get up to 16tb, yes terabytes.

With this, dropbox and ubuntu one, i'll have 12 gigs of online storage.

Another government ploy to steal your data via google like google plus and google maps. :P
Na I'm kidding, but still, I'd never use over 2 gigs so I'll stick with dropbox.
