Every 20 minutes or so the DNS just fails and any kind of internet connection disappears.
Can anyone help?

whenever this happens, it says something about a DNS lookup failure.

Your internet connection is fine.

use Google's free DNS



also, how do I change my IP?
i've looked everywhere and it's not working.

You could help by posting your Operating System (or Linux distro) firstly.
