I disagree. First, v9 introduced events and v11 brought in physics. Second, v8 had inferior add-ons in general. There were only a handful of good add-ons, and many of them are still around. (Okay, maybe Pload's awesome guitars aren't. But it's all up to him what he wants to do with them).
Seriously, I don't get any of you who want to go back to v8. The only thing I miss from those times are the people I used to hang out with, but the game was much much inferior in general.
V8 brought events and JVS doors along with all that good stuff. V9 just made them better.
Well lets think of V8 as the Industrial Revolution because that's when it was booming with epicness.

It doesn't it just makes you a bad builder.
I can't build like some the higher ID's but that doesn't bother me. Aside from that I don't do giant sky scrapers I just do small stores and all that and they aren't all that bad.
Also if you been to (the in-game) Alyx Vance's Dance club you can see what I build down along the country side. Its not bad for a quick build but it sure as hell has more detail than Alyx's club.
