I still have no idea how this loving thing works
http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/amazing_mind_reader
Try it yourself

just tried
"I GUESS 69"
*gets 30*
What?

First try got it wrong.

Did you read the instructions?

it works by doing this:

pick a symbol at random *THIS IS WHY IT FOOLS PEOPLE BECAUSE THE SYMBOL FOR ALL CORRECT ANSWERS IS THE SAME, HOWEVER IT PICKS A NEW SYMBOL EVERY TIME TO BE THE CORRECT ANSWER*

assign every possible answer TO THE EXACT SAME SYMBOL

does not matter which number you pick. when done correctly you will ALWAYS GET THE SAME (randomly generated, see point 1) SYMBOL because every possible answer is the same symbol. the numbers that are not the symbol were not possible answers.

if you don't believe me, do this
look at the number 63's symbol. click button. repeat 5 times.

Got it right the second time.  Weird.

it works by doing this:

pick a symbol at random

assign every possible answer TO THE EXACT SAME SYMBOL

does not matter which number you pick. when done correctly you will ALWAYS GET THE SAME SYMBOL because every possible answer is the same symbol. the numbers that are not the symbol were not possible answers.

I also used my amazing math powers and came to the conclusion that all possible outcomes will be divisible by nine.

Would be more amazing if it didn't reuse the same symbols for almost erri number.

pick a symbol at random *THIS IS WHY IT FOOLS PEOPLE BECAUSE THE SYMBOL FOR ALL CORRECT ANSWERS IS THE SAME, HOWEVER IT PICKS A NEW SYMBOL EVERY TIME TO BE THE CORRECT ANSWER*
On this note, it looks like the symbol list is the same because multiple answers that can not be obtained stay with their original symbol.

Also the reason people probably got different answers is because they didn't know what symbol they had before clicking it, then when they clicked to try again the symbols had changed thus making it look wrong.

See the pattern? Notice that each of the numbers I listed has a common symbol on the chart.

So basically it's a load of old crap

I'm the kid, and you guys are the dad :c

trolledbot?

It's guessed right for me 9 times in a row even if theres only like 10 solutions how the hell does it always know which one I picked.

Lol nvm I didn't notice the symbols change every time. It's a pretty simple trick based on that.
