Quite honestly, this is my new favorite film. The effects were great, the humor and fighting was awesome. I was so sad about Coulson though. :(
Meh. It was alright. The beginning dragged on, but it got better.

Aww. I have to wait for release dvd movie come out with the subtitles.

This movie was incredible. It had me laughing really hard too. I LOVED Captain America.

Amurrica yah!

You might be able to get a screening with subtitles.
My local cinema does subtitles regularly, although they don't advertise it very well, or even make it obvious when they're using them.
I went to see Wrath of the Titans a couple of weeks ago and it had Subtitles all the way through, which I wasn't expecting.

i was not a fan of the flying carrier...

like cmon. im not expecting realism so much in some action fantasy movie, but cmon...
the cheesiness was ridiculous, and the impossibility was hard to ignore.
I'm pretty sure the Heli-carrier is the iconic base of SHIELD.
Plus, it was in the Iron Man 2 videogame, although a slightly different design. :3

I absolutely loved the film.

It was well-written and the final collaboration of all the characters that they've been building up with was fantastic.

I said in another topic however how I disliked the domination of the character of Hawkeye and Black Widow throughout.
Because Hawkeye had like a 2 minute cameo in Thor and Black Widow had a sort of hidden character in Iron Man2, we didn't really know much about them when they came in to the film.
So, of course they had to build their character then and there, but it was a little bit tedious how the other characters, Thor and The Hulk, in particular were left out a little bit.
I mainly found that because personally, The Hulk film was so long ago that I didn't really remember much of the character building in it, not to mention it had a different actor and in general, Hulk films don't always do fantastically. And then with Thor, his film just felt exceedingly rushed/short to me. As if his movie had literally been made just so that they had some filler in between IronMan2 and Captain America and so that they could introduce Thor and Hawkeye quickly before The Avengers.

I really shouldn't complain though. I'd have been annoyed if they had made a Hawkeye/Black Widow film prior to the Avengers (And that might easily have been a wildcard of a superhero film, had they made it with the character design they chose (Not really superheroes)). A film with them would probably have annoyed me for dragging out the time to the Avengers, but not having one made me a little annoyed that their character dominated this film.
I couldn't see a better way to go about it though, so for all extents and purposes they did a great job with those two.

And I also really enjoyed The Hulk.
They played Banner really well and the actual Hulk scenes and his character were amazing. And he was a brilliant comic relief. Easily rivalled the chauvinism of Tony Stark.

They also played Captain America pretty well too. He was an awesome character and clearly the glue behind the Avengers. They could have played him out as the definite leader of the Avengers a little bit more, but I think they did really well with him.

I just can not wait for the sequel.

Yep, just like every movie, for you.

Yeah it was a bit weird. Plus I don't think rotors work underwater to push the entire thing out. Not to mention, Tony fixed engine 3 so easily. It was an explosion, I'd think that lots of that was important parts that fell into the sea.

I rather enjoyed the Dr. Banter/Tony dialogue. The new hulk actor is way better.

1. Its a airship bro. If they can harvest the power of a magic space cube i think they can make a flying boat
2. hes tony mother loving stark
3. hes tony mother loving stark
4. hes TONY MOTHER loving STARK

Also its obvious not many of you actually read any marvel comics.
