War...

it does change

March 15, 2014

It's been about...two weeks since it all started.

First, it was a military attack. Missiles were fired, coastal cities invaded. It was all over the world.

Then, after we thought it was all over...the dead bodies that littered the streets rose back up and lumbered at us.

New York was a common place for attacks, when you think about it.

The movies always had King Kong, aliens, that thing from Cloverfield. And in real life there was 9/11, and now this. The loving undead

~Kelly

You have been sitting in the high-rise for about 4 days. A few security doors and snipers, and you seemed invincible. Nothing could get at you. And that was true, until the door exploded and a few gunshots ran out. They were back.
It was ingenious, people were too busy solving their zed problem to prepare for a second military assault. They had us all, but now it's time to strike back.

CURRENT OBJECTIVES:
  • Escape high-rise
  • Head to The Great Lawn
  • Escape New York

This will be similar to Fallout (at least Fallout 3) in the sense that ammo and money do not weigh anything, drinking, eating, and defecating are not needed, it's more combat oriented. However, wounds need to be tended to, you're not Rambo, etc. Remember, don't just go 'attack soldier'. Please say who you would like to attack the thing, the thing you're attack, what to attack with, and optionally where you would like to attack them.

Act 1: Escape New York
New York's gone to stuff, you better hurry on out of here. You've heard talk of a tunnel entrance under The Great Lawn. That's about a kilometer from here. The tunnel should lead to a safer area. This is easier said then done, as there's a bunch of those invaders and zambies down there.

The room you are in is on the 5th floor, the door is opened, rather, it's lying on the ground. There's a few soldier corpses lying around in the doorway, and a metal crate in the corner. Another man lay near the window.

Objectives:

  • Escape high-rise
  • Head to The Great Lawn
  • Escape New York

Gawd, bump

you people... >:C

stuff this sounds awesome. Just as technical as I wanted my old adventure to be.

Check the corpses for any reanimation, and/or better weapons. Then head over to the window and peek out carefully for recon.

Both soldiers are carrying Walther PPK's (.59 kg) and no spare ammuntion. Dead window man is carrying a Winchester Model 70, which is empty.

The streets are clear as far as you can tell.

Head towards the metal box and open it

Are you able to "jury rig" anything, like those weapons?

How do I jury rigged

The crate contains 12 Gauge Shell (12x) and a Frag Grenade

By the way guys, when you want to take stuff, tell me who to give it to.

we need 90 in repair

I think we need the doc alive more than the other guy
also because I don't know about weapons, do any of the weapons we see or have take that ammo?
Scott should get both

I was asking what jury rigging is

No

So you want to give a pistol with one magazine and an empty sniper rifle to the guy who's dual wielding pistols?

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Jury_Rigging because fallout

and no, I was talking about the ammo and grenade, the doc should probably get a pistol. Not too sure about the sniper though

It's not fallout, silly

ok
can you salvage the scope off the sniper rifle or at least use it to look around outside the window

have scott take the sniper rifle and the doc to take a walther. salvage the clip off the other walther as well.

then have scott scan outside using the rifle scope; look at building entrances, parks, shrubbery, the like. look for movement of any sort.
