I have the same/similar problem, not sure if it said couldn't verify ID or account, either way mod manager was unusable, recently tho I have been able to see the news feed and download it but I can only see the mods I have downloaded since the last few days.

This has happened to me a few times. Either your network is broken, or it's just a temporary glitch. Have you tried restarting Blockland a few times?

Yes, it has always worked since the last update to RTB.

It never works after this new RTB update, everytime I get on the mod manager that comes up.

I think I might know what's going on, not script-wise. 

Not sure if this is my computer or just how Blockland is but when I start up my computer, and go into Blockland, and enter my key, I'm logged into Blockland, but appears not to be so in RTB.  It took me a little bit to figure out I have to quit the current Blockland session and start a new one, then I'm all logged into RTB.  I've never really sought what it would look like if I tried opening RTB after only opening a single session.

If your only starting up a single session right now, then try what I said above and see what happens.
