Tinypic for me all the way. I do what I have to do as fast as I can no problem with it.

I like Photobucket because its simplicity.

localhostr.com + imgur.com + some self-hosting

master race

Imgur has a nice look to it. However I'm still using Photobucket because there isn't a reason to just change.

I don't have a problem with having to have an account.
I can keep track of all my photos pretty easily with it and I can link people to all the stuff I've uploaded in one go.

I have an adBlocker, so I don't get any ads (I don't actually remember any to be honest), but even if I didn't, I can still ignore ads.

I don't really know about the last one. I don't get any slowdown caused by javascript.

Photobucket has worked wonderfully for me for ages.
I know where all my uploaded files are. I've never had any problems with image dimensions or compression and I've never personally encountered a problem with image size.
It works fine for me.

I don't really care what people use for uploading their photos. If the poster is happy using the uploader they are, and it doesn't cause problems to their images and they display properly on the forums when posted, I don't care what they use.

Why is tinypic considered bad? I use it very often, and I can not really see any downsides.
Some people complain about resizing large images, though I've uploaded 2048x2048 images on it before absolutely fine

You shouldn't need to install a browser extension in order to use a website distraction-freely.
