Does someone have an indepth tutorial on character-animation techniques? I have a 32x32 character that I need to animate a ton of frames for, and if there's a shortcut or something it would be great.

What kind of action are you trying to do? Walking/running/jumping or something more complex?

Then there should be 2 lasers, one from the remote targeter, and another for the projectile launcher. The thing firing the objects needs to make sure that the angle it's aiming at ends up at the desired target, this accounts for slopes of hills and whatnot~

In Halo Reach, the Target Locator will fire 7 missiles in a designated area, mainly staying in the range of a 18-20 foot circle. All 7 missiles come down in a straight line, so I decided to make two shots coming from two aircrafts. My missiles were not trying to be realistic, as I was only trying to make an explosion test.

i'd like to see you do a little bit o animating with them frames~
how do you turn spritesheets into animations?

in his case i was suggesting he crop out certain frames then just use a gif maker generator program thing

I made this dog for an add-on in Battle for Wesnoth.
The shadow perspective might(is) be wrong...

the shadow is suggesting that the dog might be slightly isometric, but the dog itself isn't very isometric

It's eh, sorry if you can't see it, I didn't resize it and it's a school night so I'm off to bed.

I still have about ten more of these to do to complete the LTtP sprite sheet :l

I made this for a Soundcloud upload, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to post it here, too.

there's like 3 different styles in that image and they're all in a fight for dominance

I have a deep-seated affinity for stylistically-contrasting characters vs. backgrounds and I'm not entirely sure why.

Usually things farther in the background have less detail than those in the foreground
