Stick looks thin and it looks simple but nice.

Ok so this house I drew is annoying me. I'm trying to figure out how to work the colors so it looks ok but to me it's looking like garbage.
The process from start to finish was fun and insightful though.

I included my outline if you guys want to try color it better than I have.
(Maybe even add a door since I was too lazy to do that)

how do you blow up pixel art without blurring it? if that's not an option, is there a way to make large square pixels on a grid?

preferably gimp or adobe fireworks.

you can literally blow up the pixels via resizing with the Nearest Neighbor filter in paint.net

Open ms paint and select the image area you want to resize and press ctrl +.
