no it became a light blue :T

the whole point was so you can see the white colors in the actual image.

.. then use the blue background?
seriously, what

Done on a Nokia 6680.
Did a car too, but the program crashed before I could've saved, that was frustrating.

Anyway, time to adapt this to my "normal" style. AKA the style I did the previous tank in, and also acomparison.

Unlike the previous tank which used 3 shaders, this tank uses 5. The reason for that is that the tank looked completely different on my mobile phone, I'll see what I can do about making it work in 3 colors only too.
Done for that part, will upload once I am fully done with it.

Vote: previous color scheme () or the color scheme that turned out from my phone (see above).

Friends choosen the phone one, it's clearer.

Something slaps me on the knee with the right tank's markings.

the image is transparent. I had white colors. The forum post color was white.
I quoted myself so the white colors wouldn't be on a white forum post. They would be on a blue forum post. The white colors showed up on a blue forum post.

Tank colors:

Galactic
Imperial
Star Command
Wasteland

I personally love games like that and who look like that
I also wish I could sprite stuff like that :(

LeetZero why don't you make a game?

Because scripting.

Leetzero, gimme a minute.
I'm gonna make something I think you'll like.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/fadmzz

enjoy this quick little compilation I put together
if I was motivated to, I could probably add a particle effect on the bullet, and collision, a background, etc
but it was just a quick movement test to show you why you should make a game. those sprites are lovey.

WASD + mouse

I love you.

I love you.

if you wanna further this little .exe, lemme know haha
I just took your sprites, transed them, and added some friction/movement code
I have a particle effect for the tank, but it acts weird when you turn

Not to mention that if you have your cursor on the barrel, it shoots backwards.
Anyway, I mainly wanted to make that as a RTS game sprite sheet xD.
But I love the way it looks and works.
Can you make it work with external values, or you can't do that in the lite version?
(Just so you could adjust the settings and images easily, without compiling).

Probably can't do that with the lite version. :o I've never really tried.
Oh, you're making it an RTS sprite sheet! That's cool then - I just wanted to see how it would look just driving around c: If you need any help with making this stuff into a game let me know.

more ontopic: walk cycle test for a game I'm making with friends

also, I fixed the backwards shooting bug haha

as the triangles feet move, the foot in the back appears to face the other way, sort of.
