i'm making a cookie dragon in the style of dragon cave (i'm not going to try to get it added to dragon cave this is just for practice)

plus a differently shaded version of the adult:


i can't get the shading to look right but i don't know what i'm doing wrong
i've looked at tutorials and at other dragon cave sprites but i can't figure out how to get it to look good :/
i also have an older version of the adult sprite but it was too small and looked weird so i remade it into the current one, but i haven't remade the hatchlings so i'll do that after i get the adult shaded right
