Author Topic: 3D print blockland builds?  (Read 1532 times)

I've been following a new potential 3D printer on the market, it actually has very high resolution print-outs (something that's been a limitation with other printers).  I imagine printing out block-land builds in miniature!

ive thought about this too
would be rad

PLEDGE $5 OR MORE - Get nothing.
PLEDGE $25 OR MORE - Get next to nothing.
PLEDGE $2,375 OR MORE - Get one whole kit.

Looks to me like he's just trying to use kickstarter as a platform sell his printer and he doesn't actually need financial support. On top of that, he's essentially charging $1000 for assembly.

I would love to print out some houses
for me lagoz

I heard these things produce plastic to the same quality as that of "lego" to quote an engineer on a similar 3D printer. Sounds appropriate.

Better yet, make each individual brick from your build and put it together.  :cookieMonster:

A lego build would be alright but I'm more interested in seeing minifigs and Blockland items turned into plastic.

that would actually be pretty neat, come to think of it
