Author Topic: Blockland shape poem for school  (Read 1700 times)

None of them even rhyme? Other than maybe a couple of them.

the brit-english accent is disgusting lol

whenever someone talks about british accents, I can't help but think how bad I sounded when I first moved to America, I've grown to love them, but some of the accents are horrendous. If you've ever watched Skins (UK version), then when you're introduced to Effy, her accent is terrible. I can't help but just yell it like "ELLO, I'M EUFFIEEEE"

This may not be understood by some accents such as American due to these being British pronounciations.

The difference between color and colour!  I can understand the first but the second completely throws me off.
What could it mean?

alot

why does everyone use this for 'a lot'

'a lot' is two words, you can't combine them

Approx. time 45 mins because of editing and map changes. All done in one singleplayer session, with a fast computer.
Find that hard to believe.

Anyway, it's good, but you could have rotated the text like on the plane so it would look better.

I sometimes put alot because I forget to push the spacebar.

I don't think I'm going to comment on the British superiority thing, it will only end up being a UK Vs US arguement.

I will never get over your awesome grammar.

seems like you rhymed things just because you could

like "block" and "lock"

where the hell did the lock come from? answer: nowhere, you just couldn't think of anything else

Not all poems rhyme.

He was simply explaining that some words may not rhyme because, if you haven't realised, both English and American people DO pronounce things in different ways.
Exactly.

Like your 'mom' and you still pronounce it 'mum'.
Both pronounciations the same, but yours would be 'm-om'.

Answer is in fact because it may of had a certain object placed inside. A poem is imagination not some planked up rubbish made from simple words which give people no interest.
However, this wasn't supposed to be exactly actually based on the gameplay of Blockland. My school accepts this stuff as long as it hasn't been produced badly. I said it was supposed to replace school work. Go away with your stupid remarks and let's see if there's more posts that show it's actually understood as a proper poem.
