Does the United States take pride in itself way too much? I would say many white people take pride in this nation. The same white people who fly the confederate flag, who bring lies about "our christian heritage", and think that god put on this earth to take all the land and used my ancestors for target practice. Then there are those spoiled college kids in the North who think that we need to help everyone and ask for the government for free money while giving more power to the government.

america takes as much pride in itself as most other countries. i mean really, go see what france thinks of itself, or any country in the middle east. they probably think they're the stuff, at least the people who aren't at the bottom. the thing is america shows off its pride in a bad way, not the passive aggressive snark of the french or the lazy nationalism of the italians.
