Word Link Ads - Wtf?

Word Link Ads are popping up everywhere on this forum, i just noticed them today... so...   why are they happening?

It's an adware add-on or extension to your browser. Try uninstalling add-ons for your browser, and/or use a program like Spybot S&D (free) which specializes in the removal of adware.

So, i guess it was just me. Disabled it, guess it was some kind of arcade games extension for my browser. Disabled it, all good now, thanks pecon <3 wuv u

Oh it seems a lot of people have.
 I got it, and I thought it was a new thing from Blockland, seeing some sort of checkout counter on the side and whatnot.
It does get annoying because you can't tell what is real links and what are the ads.

.... on the topic of ads, I've never understood why Badspot doesn't slap a banner or two on this forum. It could make a few extra dollars for him, this place gets a lot of traffic and traps people in.
