I hate ear popping and how it just messes with you.Living on a large hill causes it badly and that might be one thing that caused my hearing issue.
Get a pack of gum, i'd reccomend juicy fruit. Good for your ears, make sure to constantly swallow when gaining/losing altitude.Not swallow the gum, just swallow.
You don't need to have gum just swallow your spit.On this one hill at a certain altitude you would have serious ear popping and you could hear it and feel it pop. Just swallow to get rid of it.
