Weapon: +1 (Hoping for a revolver of some sort, maybe a Raging Judge. :3)

You run to the base of the hill with no problems. You begin to notice the air has gotten hotter for some reason, and more humid.

You continue to stay in the same position, trying to remain calm. You begin to hear a baby crying behind you, and you feel a strong urge to go help it. You also notice the air is hotter and more humid.

You begin moving towards the hill, alert for any potential enemies. You notice after a while of walking that the ground under you seems softer and higher. You notice the air is hotter and more humid then before.

The area has also become lighter as a full moon rises. It has also become completely quiet.

Actually, it's going to be a stuffton of zombies/humanoid hostile creatures.  You can tell because when you breathe it is warm and moist, hence the 'getting hotter and more humid' part.  Simple logic.
