Getting heart procedure on wednesday >.> - It's done :D

So yeah on Wednesday, I'll be getting a rather expensive procedure on my heart. Basically, I have "condition" called...PSVT or PTSV or something like that (the heart begins to race extremely fast due to a loop in the electrical impulses). They go in through like a main vein in my leg and freeze a collection of cells in the heart :o

 This has become very bothersome with my gymnastics, but I'm glad it's gonna end now :D

I'm a little nervous and I just want some tips or some past experiences with procedures that are of a magnitude of this...I've never even had anesthesia before...so yeah

Tips or advice, anyone?

Everything went fine, and the anesthesia was injected, not breathed in. Thanks for all the tips and advice and what to expect, it really helped me :]

anesthesia for me the first time was okay
second time, it sucked; every time i think about getting anesthetized i get all queasy

oh by the way i had a hole on the inside of my right ventricle when i was younger, got it sutured up :D

Do not panic when they put you under with the anesthesia. Panicking will cause you to breathe extremely fast, inhaling more anesthesia than you should, possibly causing you to suffocate.

And yes, listen to Frontrox. Your doctors are trained professionals; you have no need to be concerned on whether they'll do their job correctly. Just worry about staying calm and making sure you wake up after the surgery.

It should be fine. The surgery is the comfortable part.

The biggest worry is anesthesia. That'll probably be fine as well though, though don't be surprised if you feel nauseous after waking up from it.
