One question tho, are those still broadcasted? And why would they even be?
A few are, though I think very rarely and in very specific locations and on very specific channels.

Some.

And why would they even be?

Someone forgot to turn them off? :P

most likely not
they were commonly used during warfare as means of transporting messages to allies without the enemy realising what you were telling them
(the germans had terrible code creators, fyi)
among the most infamous were the russian stations during the cold war, which would play music as to appear as a regular station
they'd broadcast their number code during specific times and play creepy music the rest of the time to avoid detection

what about an american numbers station?

what about an american numbers station?
well of course, the british also had stations
it's just that the russians are the most well known for it

of course they are.

is this supposed to be creepy
No its not suppose to be but it sounds very unsettling and trying to be a tough guy who doesn't afraid of anything isn't going make you seem like a better person than all of the people here

Data transmissions can also sound really weird depending on the modulation method - it doesn't all sound like dialup sounds.

what about an american numbers station?
Numbers stations were most likely used to give spies instructions in foreign countries using consumer radios that wouldn't be suspicious if you had lying around your house. America probably does have numbers stations somewhere but they're probably not in use in America since our own military, intelligence, and law enforcement agents could just use radios or cellphones without suspicion.

"Where are the number stations Mason!?"

I know but I haven't heard of any number station America has used.

"Where are the number stations Mason!?"
"WHERE ARE YOU REZNOV?!"

"THE NUMBERS DAMMIT!"

I need to play Swedish Rhapsody in place of my school's morning announcements. Just as a prank.
