is there any way to use sketch-up for modleing
Farsysayed that you can take sketch-up modles to blender
is this posible, if so how?

Yes, use the search bar. There are several topics on it.

The Corporation posted a .skp to .blend converter i think

asfsa, I could finally be a modeller now if I could use sketchup. I'm pretty boss with it.
But I knew you could because MackTheHunter made his Deadmau5 helmets in it, although I hear you need Sketchups' full version to be able to render or save the file correctly or something.

There really is no reason to use Sketchup instead of some proper thing such as Blender.

Other than it's easier for some people.

you still have to know how to use another program.

If all you know how to do is resize, color meshes and move a model with Blender/MS3D/other program, then Sketchup will work out for you. You kinda might need the full version though.
