in other news, I've seen a few successful multiplayer-only games
although in this game, wouldn't it basically be deathmatch

There would have to be some sort of checks and balances, so the Gamemakers couldn't hurl meteorites and start floods whenever they damn well please.

the way it would have to be is an elimination game in a huge map area.

I think it'd be a really cool idea. On paper. It'd just be impossible to get a good game going.

The official servers dont let you take anything but mushrooms and leaves. Everything is found in chests.
