I'm trying to start a server, using dedicated.bat, but because vista is the best operating system ever I get this error :cookieMonster:

"Windows cannot find 'blockland.exe'"

Fyi, I have ran it with admin privs and it still wont work.


Make sure your Blockland hasn't been forgeted around with, also check to see if the .bat file is in the BL folder =D

If all else fails update your drives and post console =P

It's a fresh install from the blockland site, version 7.

Yes it's in the folder.

There is no console log, it's impossible to start the dedicated server.

Hasn't vista been like totally reprogrammed and doesn't even use batch files anymore or something? (I've based this information of absolutely nothing btw)

Pro. What is your Blockland directory, i'll try to make something to fix this for you.

It's in the default directory which is c/programfiles/blockland


I have Vista and I have no problem, right click on the blockland icon. Click compatibility change it to Windows 98/me.  :cookieMonster:
