"I just beat him. Snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. He almost had me, but then I realized..." I say, trailing into a long sentence about how the game went.

"I'll beat him harder."

"So I can lose? I'd rather see who can pin the other first."

"I can't even play chess." I say, walking around.

I smile, saying, "Chess champion three years in a row. Bring it on," I say, sitting across from him.

"My victory was sheer luck..."

I point at the board I threw. "Want to play? Go get it."

"You sure are commanding today."

"Hey, I just cuddled with you for twenty minutes."

"Could use some more."

I grab the board and sit down and watch.

"I swear, I'm hugging you tighter when we sleep again."

The game begins, with me putting deep thought into each of my moves.

I take longer times than normal to brown townyze each and every single one of my moves, employing more unethical methods than I do normally.
