"It's fine. It's just that we had a great place to stay at a motel, and me smoking one cig destroyed the place. Never smoking again."

"Hard habit to break once you've had a few."

"Which is why I don't smoke."

"Did you get the Iodine?" I say, still clutching my leg in pain.

"Wait, who's that?" I say, pointing at xxxxkill.

"A while ago, Mr. Doctor, please put iodine on his wound or something."

"A while ago, Mr. Doctor, please put iodine on his wound or something."

"What time is it?"

I sit up in bed and look around.

"Heck if I know, I lost my watch a loooong tome ago. "

I nod. "Same here," I say.

I tense up in pain. "Agh!"

"Could you put the iodine on, please?"

"Like I know how.  I'm sorry, I really couldn't help you."  I go out and come back in a little later with a cloth soaked in tepid water.
"This might ease the pain though."

"Thanks."

I take the cloth from you, and gently place it upon the burn wound. I flinch a little bit, but I seem okay.

"Where'd the others go?"

"Like I know or care.  I am usually alone.  Having yet another kid is probably gonna be hard."  I grab a beer.
"I think I can cope with about 1% less food though.  It's a big city after all."

"Don't worry, I have my own food," I say, pulling out some cheese-its and grinning.

"What's you're name? I'm Sam."

"I'm Alexander Aroth, in case you wanted to know. Now hold still, this'll hurt. A lot," I said, as I began treating Sam's burn.
