How do I take screenshots of my desktop?


I really need them for things like, i dunno. Skype calls, other programs and whatnot.

1. Go to your desktop
2. Hit the Prt Scr / SysRq button on your keyboard (next to scroll lock). This will copy a picture of what your screen sees
3. Go into paint or something similar to paint and hit paste
4. Re size how you want it and save
5. Upload / do whatever you want with it
6. Profit

If you have Windows 7 or Vista, just use the Snipping Tool. It's far better than the old Print Screen method.

To find it, go to the Start menu and type in "snipping tool". Read this for more information (recommended).
