Ring of Fire Eclipse!

Alrighty, so there's an eclipse on the brink of occurring where I live (Michigan, EST). It's popularly known as the "ring of fire" as the moon will only cover the inner area of the sun, the edges and the corona will be highly visible. This type of eclipse isn't so common and I look forward to getting some picture/video of it. Has anyone on the west coast already seen it, or has it still yet to occur? Right now it's 6:44 EST and It's going to occur somewhere around 7 or 8. Anyone else gonna get pictures/videos of it? If so, post them here.

Seeing it is the tough part. The eclipse can cause eye damage that ranges from permanent to lasting a few months. People leading the sightings reccomend a #14 welder's glass filter or shadow projection. Me? Fuqdatstuff. Tape my ipod to a cardboard box, cut a hole around the lens, and I'm ready to record. I can't wait for it to show up.
