Author Topic: I have four spare USB memory sticks lying around, what should I do?  (Read 1672 times)

make a RAID array using them to store things like an extra hard drive.

Do usb sticks ever "die"?
If not then you should use one to make some scary story with staged photos of people dying and a random screaming soundfile
And put it in a geocache

For extra lols put this near a humanitarian aid office (Save the Children, Goodwill, etc)

Eat them
that stores all their content

Create autorun.infs and modify the icons etc to fool people.

Ready boost?
the 1gb and one of the 2gb ones aren't good enough

Install an OS on the 8GB?

Use the 8gb one then

forget I lost my 8gb flash drive...

Use the largest for research, the smallest for school (minimum 256MB if they even sell them that small anymore), and the rest for general use.  If you have a 4GB one, save it in case you ever want to install an operating system off a flash drive.

Install some version of Linux or something on to the 8 gb one.

fill each one up with pictures of food, and use them for sustenance after the apocalypse

I use my 16GB flash drive for research, among other things
but mostly research

basically just whatever I don't want my mom to find if she ever searched my computer
