I wonder what will happens to the Game thread.
Sir Master Developer.

Replacing a laptop keyboard is easy.

Really.
Cost me out the nose and a half to get my keyboard's keys to stop sticking.

Seriously? Are you so desperate to go on the bloody computer you put up with a key typing component missing? That's pretty rediculous, man. Just wait for it to get fixed.

What specifically cost a lot? The new keyboard itself?

This doesn't even makes sense. Apparently you have to be desperate in order to use something mildly broken. I guess we all know who the rich starfish in this thread is.

I guess that was a bit handicapped. Sorry, dkamm.

Well that, the cost of replacement, taxes, all together it wasn't worth it.
I could have bought a better laptop with the bill alone.

Pretty sure this isn't normal

We've got one keyboard in the house that isn't semi-permanently* attached to something (i.e. a laptop) and it uses some prehistoric plug that only fits our ancient desktop
I've got about 3 or 4 spare keyboards in the attic.
They all come from previous computers we've owned. The keyboard came with them and then when we bought new computers we used the new keyboard too.
And occasionally a keyboard has broken and a new one has been bought.

When my key got sticky, i got a piece of tissue paper and saturated it. I lightly squeezed the paper so the water went into the keyboard.

This removes the stickiness and makes it usable again

I did this twice, now it's back to normal

Why does this topic remind me of that one guy who had a mac that got a virus that made his v button useless
I think he never used spacebar or something
