I applied for CS:GO last month or so ago. Still no indication. I was told it just appears in your library, still hasn't. I assume they simply don't want me.

I think they're just giving out keys at random. I applied a while ago because I thought it seemed interesting, but I rarely play CS:S and I don't have 1.6, but I still got a key about a week ago.

Too many dedicated players want in. They mostly need new players who don't know stuff. I mixed both in, which confused their roosters.

So send it out to a bunch of people who have 5 hours on CS:S and then play CS:GO for 30 minutes then never touch it again.

I thought this was a beta, not a marketing ploy.
