Sure making bad grades is horrible and deserves a punishment, but if you know your son is at his game, why purposely humiliate him.

Grades are more important than games.

Grades are more important than games.
They are but RUNNING ON THE FIELD AND TRYING PICKING HIM UP. Is wrong.

Grades are more important than games.
Running right onto the loving field in the middle of a game...

Grades are more important than games.
ruining your kid's self-esteem isn't going to help either
besides, if the kid's grades were too poor for him to play soccer, the school would have stepped in.

The funny thing is you don't know anything else about why he did that besides the statement that his grades are poor. He could hit his mother for all any of us know.

What a stupid assumption to make about someone, while still knowing just as little about the situation as anyone else.

You are correct, but the father ruining the chils self-esteem and humiliating him in front of everyone is worse, the father could have waited until the game was over and then could have punished him then.

I do not even think you read the story.

Because nothing on yahoo news is exaggerated.

Here's a scenario:
>dad says son can't go to game.
>son goes to game after being told not to.
He did the right thing to humiliate his son anyway.

He trespassed a soccer game, which is a violation of the dad's own. Really, a 3-month grounding (or at least 1 and a half months) would've done it.

Why would he be arrested? That was handicapped...

lol'd

he really shouldn't have been arrested.  he decides whether or not his son can play soccer.

Except he just ran onto the field and tried to force his son off of the field.

And? There's no law against it?
