How so?

Bastion: Amazing game that you probably barely tried written off cause "diablo 3 is better"
Amnesia: Amazing game that you for some reason refuse to install without giving it a chance.
Psychonauts: One of the best and most original games of the past 10 years written off cause it's "not worth playing".

I didn't write it off. It's an okay game but I'm not really sure about why I would want to play it instead of AS (which is basically the same game minus falling, the story, the enemies and the persistence) or D3.

Why would I want to play something that's deliberately designed to be scary?

From what I've seen so far it seems to be pretty typical. And I said that it didn't seem to be worth dealing with the crashing and the mouse feeling like using a WiiMote.
And really, crashing twice before even managing to finish the tutorial is ridiculous for a game that's been out since 2005.

story and music

...the thrill? You know, like how people watch movies that are deliberately designed to be scary? It's a genre called "horror", look it up.

Here's you're problem: You're not using a controller. Both Psychonauts and Bastion are best played with an Xbox controller or similar.

Any crashes are your own fault. Update your drivers.

DontCare4Free why did you even get this pack. lol

The story doesn't seem very interesting so far and Sabaton beats Bastion's music any day.

Thanks you for saving me the work of having to type out a proper reply.

The difference is that Bastion is completely playable with a mouse/keyboard while with Psychonauts it feels like they just copy-pasted the controller code. When you provide a feature it's supposed to at least be usable. Releasing a PC game without even making it usable for what is pretty much the control scheme for it is a pretty big whoops.

Yeah, that's why nothing else crashes on a regular basis. And the drivers are up to date.

Because I wanted to see what the Psychonauts/Bastion/LIMBO hype was about.

Psychonauts isn't playable with a controller? :o

What the forget...

Sabaton is a Grammis-nominated power metal band from Falun, Sweden formed in 1999.

I'm not going to argue with you anymore because these are obviously not the games you're looking for

Yes it is.

Yes it is.
Oh, he confused me.

Also yeah Bastion's music is amazing. lol

Quote from: Wikipedia Article of D3
Russell Brower composed the music for Diablo III. When composing for the orchestra, he tried to respect the Wagnerian style from the expansion to the second game in the series, Lord of Destruction. The Overture is considered the main theme of the game and it has been performed by the Eminence Symphony Orchestra. A similar composition was used in the cinematic teaser trailer of the game. The Tristram theme from the first Diablo, also used in the second game, is present in Diablo III with few changes.
?
anyways from the looks of it you really haven't played through the game very much and therefore haven't heard much of the soundtrack and probably shouldn't be judging it to be worse than something before you hear it. but whatever.

awesome pack. not getting it because i hate horror games and i already own bastion and not too interested in the other games.

My point wasn't that Diablo had better music but that it didn't matter because I'm muting the music anyway.

My opinion is always the best opinion.

Have you played Portal 2?  One of the writers of that helped write psychonauts.  The game is hilarious.

You know, if the game doesn't even work then the story doesn't matter at all, lol.
