News and Updates:September 08, 2007 5:30PM - Sorry for this bad news but I am getting less active because of school. You will see me from time to time but work and school put together means not much time for blockland, but I will try my best to maintain activeness, and keep everything running smoothly.

About 44Theme: The theme for 44 is
Greek.
44 is a very common clan around the blockland community and it is very popular amongst the other clans out there such as
MoTE and
USSR competing to be the best. Although USSR is deffinitely the well known clan for it's unqui/skilled builders, and MoTE for thier clan being in RTB and Blockland Retail. But enough about them, 44 is a skilled based clan and we do all sorts of stuff. We are a growing clan with some of the most skilled building players in blockland. We strive to make the best creative builds. We mostly do things such as landscape, ruins, caves, etc... We don't really do city builds unless we are bored and feel like making one. We will do the best we can to make it to the top, but if we do not, it's okay because
44 will be here till the very end!

Story About The Greek and the 44 MembersOne of the great paradoxes of history is that the next hesitant advance of European civilization - the development of the first city-states - took place not on the fertile open central European plains, but in a remote island to the south of the Aegean Sea which was completely lacking in metal resources. While the glittering mounted warrior-princes of central Europe dissipated their creative energy in warefare, a highly cultured yet peaceful society, built on trade and an agricultural surplus, emerged on Crete.
The history of Greece can be traced back to Stone Age hunters. Later came early farmers and thecivilizations of the Minoan and Mycenaean kings. This was followed by a period of wars and invasions, known as the Dark Ages. In about 1100 BC, a people called the Dorians invaded from the north and spread down the west coast. In the period from 500-336 BC Greece was divided into small city states, each of which consisted of a city and its surrounding countryside.
They didn't have much builders in some of the city states, thus a group of men searched for the top builders of the world to come and help them as the Dorians kept invading the cruel towns and cities of Greece. They found fourty-four of the most skilled builders in all of the world. Thus was the creation of the newest union known as the 44.
44 was a union that made one of the greatest scupltures/landscapes people had ever incounter in their lives. The Dorians heard about these people and rushed to find them. Once they did, Hell broke loose, and a war came down in Athens, Greece in 453 BC. The Dorians had 500 men, as the 44 of course only have fourty-four men. The war was brutial, and blood was everywhere. The Dorians lost 445 men, but 44 lost 39 of their men.
2,460 years later, in the year of 2007, a long traveler by the name of Lavish decided to bring back the 44 union in blockland retail. Over the years he has found 5 (Including himself) of the worlds greatest builders. So far they have impressed many of the people in blockland with their fantanstic builds. Thus the 44 clan was reunited!

We expect the best in players. We want the best of the best. As you may have seen us or our servers and the builds we make... We do not mess around. Although we do have a lot of fun doing what we do. I don't want to say we are a serious clan, because we aren't, we just strive to make the best that we can and we love to impress.
