The affect of The Virus [by Hellspot]
The Dictator has gone into evacuation, and has gone very deep underground vault, where he was sure the virus can't get into / spread. The remaining soldiers were ordered to stand outside the vault entrance, so that any civilian that tried to get in the vault, was to be shot on sight. But, no civilian dared, since most of everyone was infected from "IV" or "The Virus" as the survivors called it. After 3 days, the dictator thought that the civilians might try to rebel, and kill off all the Dictator's scientists. He needed them alive, so they can start engineering a cure. So, the Dictator ordered his top soldiers to protect the scientists, no mather what the cost. The the top soldiers were Paul, Simon, and John, nicknamed "The Three Musketeers". They have been on many missions, before the dictatorship started. After the Dictator took over, they were split up, acting as normal guard sentries. They weren't very happy to be back together though, because they were still under order of a dictator. "The Three Musketeers" ended up having a new recruit go with them, David. After being dropped off by a helicopter in the city's main hospital, they tried to evacuate as many scientists / doctors as possible, but... there was a slight problem. The hospital had many vials with disease in them, and sick patients, so that is where the worst of the mutations from "IV" spread. After evacuating as much as possible, "The Three Musketeers" noticed that that Paul has been bit by one of the infected. He then knew that there was still no cure, and he didn't want to spread the "IV", so he took his pistol, and took a bullet to the head. "The Three Musketeers" were even more sad, because they just lost there commanding officer. Simon took over, but shortly after, a mutated infected sneaked uped Simon, ripping him from limb to limb. John and David were able to escape the mutant. They already failed there mission, because all the scientists and doctors were either dead, or infected. So, they came back to the Dictator, they already knew what was coming. The Dictator was alone in the vault, with just John and David. Without hesitating, he took a gun from his drawer, and shot John right in the head. David was traumatized. He just stood there, seeing someone die literally right in his face. His face covered in blood, the Dictator gave David a mission. He knew, that if somehow all the best soldiers died, and just this recruit survived, he must be special. The Dictator called in soldiers to come into the vault. David thought he was done for. One of the soldiers took his gun and bashed David on the head, making him fall unconscious. David then woke up in a laboratory, where he was strapped onto a bed. The Dictator explained his evil plot. He was going to combine the mutated DNA from Paul, whose body was recovered, and "IV" to create the "V". He told David that he was going to become a "Super Soldier", and was going to clean the world of the infection, because he would still be the same him, but immune to infection, with increase of everything (stamina, strength, etc). After the injection, David didn't feel any different. Then, after a couple minutes, his skin started turning lighter. After that, David's heartbeat stopped, and was presumed dead. But, x-rays show that he has somehow "grown" an additional heart, which was a good sign, because he would now have double the body performance. His brain started showing more brain wave, making him more intelligent and quick reflex. He also started to gain more body temperature, more solid bones, and more pure blood. He woke up, feeling better then ever. But, instead of listening to the Dictator, he broke from his s strappings, threw the dictator across the room, took a fire-axe and started destroying all the computers, test tubes, vials, etc. The lab was a mess, but one of the vials contained "IV" and everyone, including the dictator, became infected. This, however, was no challenge for David, as he quickly escaped. David feel unconscious on an a highway, and when he woke up, he felt back normal, and didn't feel like he did when he got injected in the lab. He couldn't take the madness that he has taken, so he took a pistol that he found on a dead policeman, and shot himself in the head. The soldiers that were under order from the Dictator, have all been taken under order of a new Dictator, who was one of the Generals. Now he is trying to kill all the civilians, trying to find David and killing him. Though he dosen't know that he is already dead.
