Author Topic: So, Megaupload did nothing wrong at all  (Read 1433 times)

Before anybody says "Ohey pirating is not illegal :D?"
and also before anybody says "Ima go pirate stuff naow"

3. No warez - Do not talk about pirating software at all.

Sorry, just had a feeling someone would be stupid enough to post about how they are going to pirate something on a topic about piracy.
Well, as long as nobody is linking or discussing how to do it, I think this thread is fine.

However, like OP said this will highly affect bills like CISPA/etc.

I hate how the USA thinks they can control EVERYTHING in the Earth.
bahahaha

Squiggly mark. I wasn't serious, if you were being serious of how I was excited for COD and stuff and- you get the point.
was not meant to be aimed at you
But really, I hate how the USA thinks they can control EVERYTHING in the Earth.
yeah
totally true

I thought the FBI was always above the law? does this really change anything?
^ just woke up and may have not collected all data before posting, correct this fool if he missed something

Well, it's not always above the law considering FBI is only limited to the U.S.

Data is physical. The mass is extremely minute, but it has mass.

Well, yea. Megaupload was just hosting Downloads and stuff like Mediafire is. The Government are real richards.

But it's not being taken, it's being read.

IMO the farthest they should go is a fine. From what i understand he was just hosting a site that helps people share information, like facebook or twitter. the only difference is some people decided to share information that wasn't theirs.

Exactly. There are thousands of other websites that do the same thing and they never got taken down :/

The internet should have the same rules as the moon. no weapons, no countries control it, international territory.

But really, I hate how the USA thinks they can control EVERYTHING in the Earth. Like the internet. Why can't Bill Gates just take care of it :/

That's a HUGE generalization. US Citizens, like most of the forum and myself, think it's bullstuff what their semi-handicapped government is doing.

The internet should have the same rules as the final destination. no items, fox only.
