If you didn't know about 3 months ago my dad was deployed to Afghanistan.
He is almost half way done with his 6 month tour. This will be his final deployment before he retires

My dad's only tour was desert storm. He retired as a colonel 3 years ago. However, He did go to Iraq 3 times to drop his soldiers off (he was 2nd in command at Camp Shelby behind the general) to make sure they were prepared.
