In fact, aren't you in the exact same boat as him? surely you see the problem with making that sort of decision without having been in both camps?

My view is that my decision to want to be alone is a mixture of liking my own space and having never had the chance to live alone. I'm of the belief that my decision to live like that may change as I get older (I'm talking at least a decade or two down the line) though in the immediate future it won't.

Wanting to be alone has nothing to do with being mature. I get the feeling you think everyone is immature unless they think the same way as you do.

if you make a point of reading what i posted again, you'll notice i'm not saying being alone is immature. making this sort of judgement at your age is.

I dunno though, part of me thinks living alone at some stage in your life is important. A lot of people in their teens want their own place, if they can afford to rent alone. Maybe we'll get sick of it, who knows?

at some stage, yeah fair enough.

"I want to be alone for the rest of my life"? no, silly. If he was 30 years old and had previously been married I think i'd be more accepting.

I love the idea.
Always have. I like being alone with my thoughts super baked, but that's just me.
If there was a way were I could feel like. Happy alone 24/7 and just the computer, but people on the other end I would.

What I do alone is to be known by me and me only >.> <.<

Isn't there a name for that condition where people stay in their rooms for weeks at a time all by themselves and only leave to use the toilet?
