What the forget did I just read?
Here, I'll spell it out for you:
Katawa Shoujo is a visual novel. Meaning the only actual "gameplay" is through picking choices that affect the story. Hence the term "visual" novel. It's basically reading a loving novel. Yes, there are love scenes, but serve the main purpose of improving characterization. They're tasteful and they're not drawn out like they are in countless other visual novels where it feels like they're inserted for the hell of it at random points in the story. In other words, since you're obviously too goddamn stupid to comprehend this,
the main focuses of the game are the loving story and characters. Big forgetin' whoop, they're drawn in the anime style. I don't give a stuff if you don't like anime, it's no forgetin' different from reading a goddamn book with good characters and story. You don't even have to watch the love scenes, there's an option to turn them off and watch a forgetin' shrimp for the entirety of the scene (that's not even a joke).
