Author Topic: Server problem  (Read 1168 times)

I can't figure out why my servers are not working, I did almost everything with the network settings. My brother can get  a server running with people, but I can't. most common error is Sending challenge request or Conection attempt with my IP address.

I need Help.....

Did you set your IPv4 correctly?
If you're router does that.

Okay, so your brother can get it working, are you guys are on the same computer?

No, we have different laptops.

Right now the IPv4 is set up to Internet
IPv6- not connected

You don't need the IPv6 set up, really.

Does your IPv4 internal address match the one it gives you in ipconfig?

Where can you find the Ipconfig? My ipv4 shows up as 192.168.1.25

If your brother is forwarding 28000 you might need to pick another port?

right now my port is 28100

I am having this same problem with my Dedicated Server. I port forwarded before, setup my IPv4, everything. It just stops at Connecting to IP: whatever. I was just about to setup a topic in the Help Section too...

Port is 28035

Hosting a Non-Dedicated Internet Server works fine.

my brother and I share the same port which is 28100 does it actually work if i go on Advance config and change it, but how do I get the right one??

Open up CMD
Write in ipconfig

Make 2 port forwards with different ports for each computer.

ipv4 matches with config, now how do you make to different ports on different computers

Set the server's prefs to match whatever you have set.
