Is it me or are kids just getting worse?

Well, OT, I do notice kids are a bit more pompous. For example, last year a 6th grader got kicked off the bus, and almost got in trouble with official law enforcement because he wouldn't stop assaulting this high schooler as he repeatedly yelled at her, "I KILL YOU, CUNT-BITCH!" Kids spewing curse words doesn't make them any cooler, nor is assaulting someone.

I feel your pain. I'm 12 and I'm hearing '"forget you! This Is my sharpener now!"' Also seeing other kids getting punched, slapped, elbowed, kneed for a simple misunderstanding of who was In front of who in the lunch line.
It's sad really. I'm short tempered and even I would not go as far as to punch someone.

Edit: Yes I know I'm also a child but still when I bump in to one kid on accident the person huffs up his chest and says '"You wanna black eye?"' I just say sorry scurry away.

Well, i know what your talking about. I can relate.

At my towns "Day Camp" where kids go to stay if both of they're parents are working or whatever, there is this little fat stuff who constantly swears at me. Ive done something about it of course but it still hasnt stopped. And i mostly only see him when i visit some of my friends at the camp which i live 2 blocks away from and that stuff is there.

Anyways yea, the new generation of kids is turning to stuff. Even though i am one im never this disrespectful to anyone. Im a calm person but if you flip my switch the worst i can do is just go "What the forget man?" and then forget about it.

There comes a point in time where you realize that nothing changes. Kids are the same they have always been. People have been thinking they are worse since forever.
