It is easy and distict, but it's kind of like saying that Roman Legionnaires used the Hoplon (big Greek round shield) because they're both from the Mediterranean.
But it's not really important. I'm just a huge nit-pick about this sort of thing. I guess I can just deal with it because it is a really nice model anyway.

You should call it "Pickelhaube" or "Prussian". If you want a national socialist hat, you should make something like this:
