Why the hell are the forums so slow for me (and possbily anyone else)?

It took me like 15 seconds to open this thread and another 5 to open the login page.
All other sites are fine, except some Minecraft ones.

yeah sometimes the forums just plain wont load, and this isn't happening on any other sites

It's happening with me as well. If it's happening to lots of people, it can't really be their connection, can it?

Happened to me this morning.
It was because of that forum update, I think.

I've also been having this problem. Only the forum does this for some weird reason.
