I am SO fricking pissed off at my school.

So as you guys know i do play alto saxophone. I am first chair in my wind ensemble and jazz band. A week ago was the concert. Our band director did a great job. So yearbooks came out today (kinda; only the 8th grade. One of them pointed this out at jazz band today) and i swear i almost blew my top when i got out of school. Low and behold, in the activity section:

THERE WERE ABSOLUTELY NO PICTURES OF WIND OR JAZZ ENSEMBLE!!!

ARGH!!! I swear this proves my point that my school is so damn fed up with sports! It's too bad too. During the concert, our principal gave him a gift card as a token of appreciation and he was so happy his jaw literally dropped to the ground. AND! Here's the catch: They personnally took pics of jazz band MONTHS ago. What an outrage. This is such a disappointment. You yearbook making bastards.

My school's band and orchestra classes (I being a member of the former) stand forever in the shadow of the choir.
Choir concerts get full a house every time, while band concerts are lucky to get more than just relatives of the band members.
And on the subject of yearbook stupidity, close to the end of the year we were handed slips telling us how many times we appeared in the yearbook.
Feeding off of our inner narcissism to get us to buy the yearbook. Sly bastards.

i honestly think that physical stress is a bigger feat then blowing on a tube for a few minuets. i mean, most middle school/high school bands suck, while sports are actually good.
