Looking for neat co-op game.

Hey guys. My friend and I are a bit in a situation and I may as well ask here.
So we're looking for a good co-op game (obviously 2P) and it has to be less than or equal to 10$. (1 copy for each of us)
I've tried suggesting Sven Co-op (HL1 mod), but he doesn't like it because of graphics and other issues.
We've both looked at Dino Beatdown, but we think it won't be so good since it is merely camping at an area and killing wave after wave of dinosaurs.

Oh, and it would be best if it was an FPS.

Synergy. Its like Sven Co-op but in HL2. you both need HL2 to play it and you can mount games like HL2: EP1 and EP2 to play those too.

Pretty sure its 8 or 16 players max for multiplayer.

You must be really bad at puzzle games then, I beat it in a few hours. And they've added the map editor so there's a near endless supply of new coop maps to play on the workshop.

If you're willing to wait for a bit the steam summer sale should be starting up pretty soon, borderlands usually goes on sale for like $5 or so

Oh, no. I figured 3 days would be short relative to us doing it together. But I think we could've beaten it in maybe 5 hours or a day. And yes, there is the map editor...

Look for some multiplayer rougelike games, such as Dwarf fortress or something. Also games like 007 Nightfire are really fun. Smokin Guns is free and really fun, its a western themed shoot-em-up with gamemodes like cops n' robbers. Also any of the Command and Conquer series, which can be found cheap on amazon or on a pay and download site.

If you want to find an fps with good graphics and under $10 this will be a long search.
