I hate it when people blame arguments on religion. Alot of the time it's someone who says something about religion, and then an atheist just HAS to tell them how much they don't believe them, and how wrong they are. Religion makes people happy, why can't some people just leave them alone? Also, Athiesm is the lack of a theism. AKA believe in nothing, therefore Nick is already wrong.

If you are referring to the one in the op, the whole argument was started by Joel, not Nick. He was trying to force his beliefs on Nick by trying to get him to go to church and telling him how dumb his beliefs were.

And holy stuff atheism is not a belief, thats the stufftiest comeback against a religion I've ever heard.

Holy stuff, what the forget is this? If i saw something like this on my feed i would De-friend them immediately. I believe in god and all that, im a normal christian (Except i dont go to church) and i am fine with anyones beliefs (except satanism). Im definetly fine with athiests, i respect them for they're beliefs because who am i to tell them to change they're religion. I hope im not insulting you with this if they are your friends, but those people trying to get the sence of the bible and all that into him is handicapped. And those people are handicapped too.

We all know your agenda op. You started a religion war because you think you're so witty and smart. You're not.

What's worse was how unimpassioned both sides were toward their argument.

I myself am an atheist and I didn't side with you, and I'd never even think of siding with these Christians.

For once I want to see a religion war where both sides actually care about what they're talking about, and what's more it isn't about disproving their alternatives but rather attempting actual persuasion. Using real, logical set of arguments (and not you're pseudo philosophy and the modern definition of logic, but rather its classical) instead of "god is great! go to church" "no, God isn't real, how could he be?"
