Author Topic: I CANT HOST  (Read 546 times)

The hell do you mean "Cant Host"

Whats going on when you do try to host.

I host, and everything works, but my server doesnt appear on the server list!  :cookie:

Do not post ambiguous titles.

You do know that would mean that something isn't working? So it'd be terribly incorrect to say "everything works".

Post a console log.
Tell us exactly what you do when you start hosting.
And, of course, did you port forward? Or are you using UPNP?

Check if you are using LAN hosting or Internet.
And be more specific about stuff, just saying "I CAN'T HOST" won't tell us what's wrong.

Can't you get banned by doing titles with overused caps?

You have to be more specific about your problem.
But you can also try these solutions:

1. Make sure you have forwarded port 28000. Most of the times you won't need to port forward, but sometimes you'll need to. Blockland uses port 28000. Contact your router's manufacturer or look up your router's brand and model for more information on how to forward your ports.

2. Try checking UPnP in Blockland's Network options.

3. Make sure your firewall isn't blocking Blockland from communicating to the master server. The permissions set to Blockland must be set to Public.

4. Ask a parent or a technician.

5. If all else fails, rent a hosting service.
