  • My budget is $2000 tops. Don't worry about trying to go cheap though. I'll spend every penny of that if I need to.
  • Find the absolute highest quality, most powerful hardware under that budget.
  • Don't worry about an OS, I've got one.
  • BONUS: (Ignore the budget for this) if you find some good full-size monitors, include those for SLI/Crossfire

I'd love to see what you guys can come up with.

.with that money you could just find one yourself, its really easy to find a beast computer for that price.

I refuse to purchase a prebuilt desktop PC ever again. Building one is my best and least expensive option here.

$2000? That's 4x as much as what my computer cost. You have a large budget for a performance desktop. Mine cost around $500 (estimated from £300) and it can run BF3 on max graphics and highest res settings.

My spec:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600)
Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: H61M-S2-B3
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Memory: 4096GB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Graphics info:
Name: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series (6770 + fac. overclock)
Manufacturer: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
Chip Type: ATI display adapter (0x68BA)
DAC Type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Total Memory: 2798 MB
Display Mode: 1340x1024 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor: Generic Non-PnP Monitor

If I were you, I'd get something similar to this, but with an i7 and 6990 if you're looking for a mega monster.

so if you refuse to purchase a prebuilt computer, why dont you find the parts yourself instead of asking people to do it for you?

At 20 fps.

At 20 fps.

Actually 60-75. Look on youtube for BF3 running on 6770s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nTCyP99ni0. Mine's overclocked so it runs even better :cookieMonster:

Wow, it ran upwards of 10 fps. Even worse than I expected lol.

Have fun spending more money than it's worth.

Ethan knows how to get a good build but the parts are outdated. Put I. A 7xxx series man!

Where did you read that? Look on the video. He's running it on a stufftier computer than me and gets 35-40 fps with fraps recording in the background.

Actually most of the parts on that build are deactivated...

What resolution?

If its like 1024x768 I can believe it, otherwise no. I have a 6870 and I run 50 fps+ o. 1440x900. Ultra

I run it on 1340x1024. Read my spec.

It's impossible for your build to run better than mine on ultra.
