Author Topic: Suggest me a gamemode to make and host.  (Read 2679 times)

I haven't been on blockland much these last few months, and I haven't hosted in like, half a year, so I wanna come back with something attention grabbing to show.
No complicated roleplays (e.g. cityrpg wouldn't be okay, but trench tdm would be), I've made those before, and the attention they get is never worth the work.
Other than that, gogogo.

Freebuilds are the stuffty servers where the host couldn't figure out how to install a gamemode so they just said "do what you want" called it a freebuild, and went afk. If someone wants to build alone, they'd do it offline, if they want to build with others, they go to a clan build, which is the same thing, but with less richards and swastikas.

A controlled zombie chase down a canyon, maybe? I know there was plenty of zombie stuff, but it was too often crap, and this could be really cool if you had a nice build and cinematic triggers for zombies to appear.

Also, he needs to fix the problem with salvage where 2 people with the same ID cannot build. It prevents siblings from playing..

Make a fast paced, rotating ctf/tdm  doubleslash rotating map gamemode. Make it require skill, and possibly have perks and other things that players work to unlock and things like that.

A salvage tdm where one team has to defend something from being captured by the other team, they get a limited amount of time to salvage bricks then rebuild them into defenses, while the other team has to try to destroy those defenses and get to the thing and win. The attackers would start far away also but can bring checkpoint bricks with them.


Basically a attack/defend salvage tdm.
